Geduld church works with Mandela Charity to feed the needy

The weather over the past few days has really highlighted the plight of so many disadvantaged people in the area.

Once again Mandela Charity (Impala Platinum) has come to the rescue and opened its heart to the community of Springs.
Their generous donation of blankets, beanies, hand sanitiser and masks has warmed the hearts of a large number of Springs residents in need.
SpringsCare, under the auspices of the Geduld Methodist Church, joined hands with staff from the Mandela Charity to hand out these much-needed items on a cold windy morning.

The church hosts these donations every winter and has not allowed lockdown to get in its way.
“The weather over the past few days has highlighted the plight of so many disadvantaged people in the area. We now know that at least a few more people will be a little warmer tonight.
“Thanks to Impala, some of the suffering has been alleviated for which we are all most grateful,” said Past Jonathan Coates.
