Sewage disaster in New State Areas

"It started up weeks ago and it just spills out non-stop."

Residents in New State Areas are complaining about a sewage leak, which allegedly started many weeks ago.
According to resident Peter Webb, the main area of concern is in a field opposite a retirement village close to the railroad.
“It started weeks ago and it just spills out non-stop. But my biggest concern is that all of this sewage is running into the Blesbokspruit,” said Webb.

Webb is also concerned about the illegal mining taking place by the railroad, which he thinks is making the issue worse.
