Blom Street in Oranjehof is being rehabilitated after residents complained about its condition.
The road sports numerous large potholes, posing a danger to motorists.
The ward committee decided Oranjehof was one of the areas most in need and sent their contractors to work on the road earlier in the week.

Large parts of the road are being dug up and new tar will be laid.
“This road was in a terrible condition and people started to complain. Once the contractors are done here, we can move on to other areas that need our attention,” said ward councillor Thulani Simelane.
