A Selection Park factory is counting the costs after they were robbed of R25 000 on Thursday morning.
A security guard on duty was patrolling the premises when he was overpowered by two men.
He was forced into the guardhouse where he was pepper-sprayed.
One of the men kept a watch over the guard and robbed him of his personal and company cellphones, a torch and panic button, while the other man went outside.
