Hope, Faith and Grace wants to make a difference

Young people will be taught basic life skills and receive counselling.

Local NPO Hope, Faith and Grace aims to make meaningful contributions towards alleviating poverty in Springs, especially in the youth.
They believe uplifting the youth will have a ripple effect and will eventually lead to a prosperous town.
Hope, Faith and Grace is working closely with existing, similar organisations to provide mental, physical and spiritual assistance to those struggling and provide them with the tools to become self-reliant and create a future for themselves.
Noticing that unemployment is especially prevalent in the youth of Springs, Hope, Faith and Grace is focusing all their resources on getting them back on their feet.

Presently, the NPO’s main aim is to acquire premises from where they can build their youth centre where they will conduct their upliftment efforts.
Here, young people will be taught basic life skills and receive counselling.
“Many of our young people come from broken homes and it is then easy for them to fall into crime and drug use, but with our centre, we will give them a safe place to live and will also help them develop unique skills to make a success of their lives,” said marketing facilitator Kerry-Leigh Wright.

Russells donated laptops to Hope, Faith and Grace’s marketing team.

Hope, Faith and Grace recognises their efforts will require the Springs community to work together in a joint effort if they wish to achieve their goals.
Therefore, they are working towards a community-based solution and invite all similar organisations and stakeholders to join them.
“Many organisations are doing good work in Springs and if we work together we can achieve great things,” said Wright.

The NPO recently launched their marketing team, and they have been hard at work networking with the community.
The marketing team aims to seek out companies and individuals who wish to join them in achieving their goals.
Members of the marketing team are also gaining essential skills while working to help the organisation.
Hope, Faith and Grace are still in need of volunteers to complete their teams.
They are looking for private social workers, house fathers and mothers, cleaners, security personnel and a psychologist.
