A large tree fell over on the Nigel-Springs Road, destroying a large fence.
Strong winds and heavy rain caused the tree to topple over at the beginning of February. Most of the tree was cut to clear the road.

The tree stood between the Molendam Old Age Home and the New Apostolic Church.
