The total value of the stolen items is R383 840.

A 59-year-old woman was threatened at gunpoint during a house robbery in Maroela Road, Dal Fouche, on Thursday afternoon.
The woman had returned home from a shopping trip and was in the kitchen when she heard the perimeter alarm going off.
She looked through the kitchen window and could see part of a champagne coloured vehicle parked in the driveway.
She opened the kitchen door and saw a piece of paper on the ground in front of the gate and went outside to pick it up.

Two men jumped the six-foot wall and she immediately realised the danger and ran towards the house.
She tried to close the wooden door but the men managed to kick the door to gain access to the house.
One man took out a handgun, pointed it at her and demanded firearms and access to the safe.
After she responded by telling them there are no safe or guns, the men asked for jewellery and money.
The woman gave them her handbag, which was on the dining room table, and took them to the bedroom where she handed over her jewellery box.
The gunman also asked her for the keys to the bathroom but since the door could not lock, he told the woman to sit on the toilet and not move before closing the door behind her.
While in the bathroom, the woman could hear the men ransacking the house, searching for valuables.
The armed man then returned with a set of keys, asking which one opens the garage door, before leaving again and reminding her to remain where she was.

The total value of the stolen items is R383 840.
The car was recovered in Kwa-Thema.
