A Geduld homeowner’s screams chased away two robbers after he caught them in his house
Springs police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora said the victim was awakened by the sound of footsteps in the house.
Getting up to investigate, the victim found the suspects, both of whom were armed with knives.

The man screamed at them and they ran away.
The robbers gained entry to the house by forcing open a sliding door and made off with a cellphone, a tablet and a car radio valued at R21 000.
