Man ambushed by two hijackers in Selcourt

A Selcourt man was caught by surprise when he was hijacked by two men as he parked his car in the driveway of his home on Saturday evening.
Capt Johannes Ramphora, spokesperson for local police, said the victim arrived home and was waiting for his son to open the gate for him when he was suddenly confronted by two men, one of whom was armed with a gun.

The victim was threatened at gunpoint and ordered to lie down.
His son was also ordered to lie on the ground.
The two men then jumped into the vehicle and drove away.
The car was later recovered by a tracking company in the parking area of a supermarket in Dunnottar.
