A statement posted on the EFF website on Monday read: “If Clicks does not close, our members in all the branches will shut down all 880 Clicks outlets across the country from September 7 to September 11.”
The advert featured pictures of four women, two white and two black, and described the black womens’ hair as ‘frizzy and dull’, while the white womens’ hair was described as ‘flat’ and ‘normal’.
Clicks has since issued an apology.
