The body of a man was found on Plantation Road in the early hours of Thursday morning.
According to Springs Police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora, a police officer found the man lying face up on the pavement.

The deceased had a visible injury to the top of his left eye and had bruises on his buttocks.
He was declared dead on the scene by paramedics.
