Springs Ext CPsF to clean Geduld Cemetery for Mandela Day

The Springs Extension CPsF is calling on the community to help clean up the Geduld Cemetery on Mandela Day.

The cemetery, which is one of the oldest in Springs, has over the years fallen into disrepair.

Not only have vagrants moved into the cemetery, but many residents have fallen victim to criminals while visiting the graves of loved ones.

The CPsF has decided to take matters into their own hands and will be sprucing up the cemetery.

Those interested in lending a helping hand can bring along garden tools, refuse bags, cleaning materials and join the CPsF at the cemetery on Saturday morning from 8.30am to 1.30pm.

Those without tools are also welcome to join in to help with the work.
