Aspiring comic artist in need of help to make his dream come true

His biggest dream is to publish his self-illustrated comic book titled Kas'Lam: The story of hope and dreams.

Kwa-Thema – Thirty-three-year-old Sam Sinda from Barcelona has been drawing since he was a child.

His biggest dream is to publish his self-illustrated comic book titled Kas’Lam: The story of hope and dreams.

Currently, he works for a construction company. The father of one says he wants to put his talent to good use.

“I was inspired by a Supa Strikas comic I came across in 2002, from then onwards I have never looked back, and I taught myself how to illustrate a comic as I only knew how to draw.

“There was something beautiful about how they told their stories which captivated me.

“I want to share my stories, and tell other people’s stories through my craft.

“This talent was given to me by God and it is one of my greatest passions,” he explains.

He says his comic book addresses the challenges faced by the youth.

“One of the challenges I had is lack of support and information.

“I do believe that this book will inspire and change the lives of many South African youth who grew up in the townships.

“At the moment, I just need someone who can help me publish my book because I do believe I have a story to tell and share with the world,” he says.
