A construction site in Struisbult was robbed on Wednesday evening.
This is according to Springs Police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora.
The complainant, a security guard, was at the site with his colleagues inside one of the trucks in the yard.

They were suddenly attacked by two suspects, one of which had a gun.
The suspects forced the complainant and his colleagues into their guard room and tied them up with their shoe laces and locked them inside.

The suspects broke into two containers, where they took a survey machine, microwave and a cellphone before fleeing on foot.The total value of stolen items is R6 200.
