Police arrested a suspect with drugs on him on Fourth Street on Saturday morning.
Springs police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora says the sergeant on duty was patrolling on Fourth Street when he saw a suspicious-looking male standing next to the corner tavern.
The sergeant then stopped his vehicle and searched the suspect and found a white substance, which they suspect were drugs, in his pockets.The suspect was arrested on the scene.
