The Springs police are warning the public to refrain from buying illegal alcohol from any member of the public.
“According to the information we have received from people in Springs, there are people selling liquor around Springs and surrounding areas which may have been made at home.
“This might be dangerous and not approved for human consumption and it may lead to death.
“We hope people will adhere to the request of the police and report suspicious dealing or selling of illegal homemade liquor to the police,” says Springs police spokesperson Cpt Johannes Ramphora.
