Kyo Brick donates 500 blankets

Speaking at the handover, Kutlwano Strawberry Ngema thanked the company for their donation and urged her fellow members to do their jobs with integrity.

On Thursday morning Kyo Brick donated 500 blankets to communities around Springs.

Sam Mntungwa, community liaison officer for the company, says their vision was to contribute to the community.

“Our vision has come to life.

“This is a crucial time as it is the beginning of winter and we also wanted to do our part in helping the fight against covid-19,” says Mntungwa.

Accepting the donation were ward committee members from Springs.

Speaking at the handover, Kutlwano Strawberry Ngema thanked the company for their donation and urged her fellow ward committee members to do their jobs with integrity.

“Let us make sure that the people who need these blankets, get them and let’s make our community proud,” says Ngema.

General manager of the factory Gurban Zeynalov says their  main aim was to look after their community and do what they can to uplift them.

“We will also be donating the blankets to communities in Delmas, Middelburg and Bronkhorstspruit.

“If all businesses in Springs had a similar mentality, we can all be better, bit by bit,” says Zeynalov.
