Read our special online edition and stand a chance of winning

Friday will see the first edition of the African Reporter's special online lockdown of the paper which will be published exclusively on our website.

If you love your weekly paper, this one will be just as good, it will simply come to you in a different format, and you stand the chance to win a R500 SPAR voucher just by reading the paper and entering our competition.

A decision was taken during the first week of lockdown not to print the African Reporter for the duration of the (initial) three-week lockdown.

However, with the extension of the lockdown which was announced last Thursday, the African Reporter team has decided that while we cannot distribute the paper in Kwatsaduza, there is no reason we cannot deliver the paper to your home.

We have thus decided to put out a special online edition of the paper every week until the lockdown ends.

During this time, you will be able to read the e-paper on our website at www.africanreporter.co.za and a link will be placed on our African Reporter Facebook page so it is easy for you to find.

The online paper will bring you your normal weekly dose of news from around Kwatsaduza, but you won’t have to leave home to find it.

The African Reporter will only be offered in this format during lockdown, after which our vendors will be back on the streets in their usual spots, selling the paper.

Readers who would like to win R500 will have to read the paper to find the answers to two questions which will be printed in the online edition.

Once you have the answers, following the given in the paper to enter and stand the chance of winning.

There will be one R500 SPAR voucher up for grabs in each edition of the special online edition and vouchers will be awarded to the winners when the lockdown has ended.

Read the paper to find out more about the competition, the questions and how to enter.

Advertisers who would like to use this platform to advertise during the lockdown can contact Gertrude Shabangu on 063 130 6846 or Gugu Ngwenya on 079 772 8708 to do so, starting from today.
