ProSafe offers grocery and shopping delivery system to the elderly

“These are difficult times and people must really work together if we want to get through it all.”

ProSafe is offering free food and grocery deliveries to the elderly residents of Springs.

CEO Tony da Cruz and his team recognised that shopping is becoming increasingly difficult and dangerous for the elderly, given the Covid-19 pandemic.

Da Cruz and his team partnered with Pick n Pay Strubenvale and have been able to come up with a free delivery system.

Orders can be placed via WhatsApp, and ProSafe will make use of their personnel and company vehicles to make the deliveries.

The personnel will deliver the ordered items to the doors of the elderly, who will pay for their orders and with no added cost for delivery.

Da Cruz says: “These are difficult times and people must really work together if we want to get through it all.”

The system is limited to Sassa members and will be made available from Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm.

All products will come with a 5 per cent discount.

Orders can be placed on WhatsApp with Dorette van Zyl on 081 382 0600.
