A new water reservoir is currently under construction in Eastvale.
This area has been suffering from water shortages for a long time and the metro believes the reservoir will solve this problem.
The reservoir comes after many requests from the residents who have become frustrated with the water shortages.

The reservoir will provide water for Eastvale and other parts of Dersley.
Ward councillor Ramesh Sheodin says: “I am very happy for the residents of Eastvale and Dersley.
“The metro has acceded to our requests to solve the water shortage problem.

“This is a multi-million-rand capital project that will take about 12 months to complete.
