A woman’s kitchen was cleaned out of food during a house robbery in Struisbult last Sunday evening.
Springs police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora says the victim was sleeping when two suspects, both wearing balaclavas and gloves, entered the bedroom she was in.

The suspects woke the victim up and demanded money from her, which she says she did not have.
They then stole the victim’s boyfriend’s belt, R100 in cash and two cellphones.
They also took the food from the cupboards, meat, a set of pots, camp chairs and curtains.

Suspects used the kitchen door to gain entry into the house.
