A 25-year-old suspect was quickly arrested after it was alleged he was involved in a house robbery last Thursday morning, says Springs Police spokesperson, Capt Johannes Ramphora.
The complainant was watching TV in the living room when the suspect suddenly appeared from her bedroom.
The victim screamed when she saw the man, which woke up her mother who rushed into the living room.

Upon seeing the two women, the suspect, who had a sharp silver object in his hand, demanded money from the victims.
The mother then told the suspect to take the cellphone and money that was on the table.

The suspect fled from the scene through the bedroom window, while the complainant and her mother fled using the front door.
Police arrested the suspect the following day after he was spotted in the area.
