Two security guards were tied up during a business robbery in Vischkuil on Tuesday morning.
Springs Police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora says a security guard was overpowered by four suspects while patrolling.
After they subdued him, the suspects tied him up with another security guard who was also on duty that same evening.

The suspects then broke into the office and workshop of the business.
They then took keys of one of the security guard’s car and tried to start it. They pushed it outside the premises to push start it, but it would not start and they eventually left it behind.
The security guards are not sure what was taken from the business, but one of the guards reported hearing the sound of another vehicle leaving the premises.

No shots were fired and no injuries were reported.
The suspects broke the precast wall to gain access to the premises.
The crime was reported late because victims had difficulty in freeing themselves to call for help.
