Casseldale and Strubenvale CPF members had the opportunity to be educated in level one first aid.
Kobie Snyman, a member of the Community Police Forum (CPF ) and director of BJS Risk Assessment and training, donated the training to the group.
“I think it is very important for the CPF to know first aid because they are usually the first on the scenes of medical emergencies.
“We are faced with a lot of life and death situations.”
He says he hopes this will encourage the community to trust the CPF more.

They will receive level one first aid certificates recognised nationally.
