Health MEC announces new CEO for Far East Rand Hospital

Mathaba has worked as the clinical manager at the Edenvale Regional Hospital since March 2019 and previously worked as a clinical manager at Thelle Mogoerane Hospital for two years.

Dr. Zachariah Sipho Mathaba in the new CEO for the Far East Rand Hospital (FERH).

This was announced by Health MEC Bandile Masuku in a press conference on Thursday morning.

Mathaba has worked as the clinical manager at the Edenvale Regional Hospital since March 2019 and previously worked as a clinical manager at Thelle Mogoerane Hospital for two years.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree and an MBCHB degree.

As it stands, it is currently unclear when the new CEO will start working at the FERH.

Ten other hospitals across Gauteng were given new CEOs by Masuku.
