KwaThema – A woman was arrested in KwaThema Extension Six on Monday for her 42-year-old husband’s murder after hiring a hitman to kill him.
The deceased was shot and killed on March 6 in an open veld next to Ntokozweni Primary School.

The arrest comes after a thorough investigation conducted by the investigating officer from the Serious and Violent Crimes Unit following information from the eyewitness.
KwaThema police spokesperson Const Media Khoza said the police’s swift reaction led to the arrest of four suspects on the very same night, who were found in possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition.

“The suspects had since been denied bail pending further investigation, which has yielded positive results in linking the wife to the murder.
“The suspects will appear in the Springs Magistrate’s Court,” she adds.
