5th Avenue shop robbed

The suspects then tied the brothers together using plastic cables.

A shop on 5th Avenue was robbed last Thursday evening.

Springs police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora says the shop owner was in the shop when four suspects, two of them armed, came into the shop dragging his two brothers who were sitting outside with them.

The suspects then tied the brothers together using plastic cables.

Suspects took three cigarettes, seven cellphones and R2 400 which was in till.

They fled the scene in maroon sedan with registration number PCP232GP.

No shots were fired and no one was injured during the robbery.
