Woman unharmed after Edelweiss break-in

The suspect gained entry to the yard by forcing both the main and pedestrian gates open.

A woman was surprised by a suspect in her yard during a break-in in Edelweiss last Wednesday morning.

The complainant was busy doing laundry and was in and out of the house all morning.

When she went out of the house again at one stage, she found a suspect in the yard who pushed her back into the house, made her sit in the lounge and asked for money and a TV.

He then took a plasma TV, two tablets and a cellphone, all valued at R55 000.
