Chapole Day Care Centre learners treated to cupcakes for Mandela Day

“For today, this is just our little part in contributing to the magic of Mandela Day,” says Yolanda Mogobo.

Sthandwa Sami Trading and Projects, in partnership with Mxolisi Tours, treated the learners at Chapole Day Care Centre to a fun Mandela Day last Thursday morning.

The centre was filled with the excited screams of the young ones as they played on the jumping castles and interacted with their visitors.

The two businesses, who donated blankets, cupcakes and lunch packs to the centre, said this was just the start of what they wanted to do for the centre.

“We want to adopt this crèche and hopefully, in future, renovate it and make it homey for the children.

“In December, we would like to have a Christmas party for them as some of the children have never had a party before.

“This is an amazing place as they cater for all children and don’t turn anybody away, even those whose parents can’t afford to pay the school fees.

“For today, this is just our little part in contributing to the magic of Mandela Day,” says Yolanda Mogobo, owner of Sthandwa Sami Trading and Projects.

The staff at the centre were speechless with gratitude, and together with the learners performed a song to thank their generous visitors.
