Clinic sends pensioner back and forth

Terence Smith, a pensioner claims that he went to the Springs Dental clinic six years ago.

 

Terence Smith, a pensioner claims that he went to the Springs Dental clinic six years ago to have his teeth removed so he could get false teeth.

At the time, he was told he would have to wait five years as he was on the waiting list for false teeth.

Six years later he went to the clinic on April 8 but was told to return on June 28 at 7.30am.

But, he still hasn’t received the promised teeth.

“When I got to the clinic, the clinic was not open yet and there were more than 60 people waiting at the clinic doors.

“The clinic only opened at 9am.

“We were then told there is no dentist and I was told that I should come back again on July 1,” says Smith.

An enquiry was sent to the Department of Health by the Addie however they failed to comment in time of the publication.
