Brothers unharmed after Payneville house robbery

The suspects also took the complainants car keys, but did not take the car.

 

Three brothers escaped unharmed after a home invasion in Payneville last Wednesday morning.

According to Springs Police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora, the victims were at home when the suspects came in, pulled out their firearm and knife and demanded money from the complainant.

The brother quickly complied and ran into the bedroom and came with R4 000 in cash which he handed over to the suspects.

In addition to the money, the suspects also took six cellphones from the house.

Value of stolen items is R8 000 and no shots were fired during the invasion.

The suspects also took the complainants car keys, but did not take the car.

Suspects fled the scene after the robbery and no arrests have been made.
