The Springs Rotary Club held their Annual 100 Draw on Saturday at the Emerald Guest House.

The event is part of a fund-raising event aimed at knitting and providing jerseys for schoolchildren in Springs and other areas.

One of the Rotarians, Cheryl Havenga says they want to get women from rehab centres and homes for abused women involved in the process.

They are working closely with Hope, Faith and Grace, an NPO that helps poor communities in Springs, to make this a possibility.

The rotary club also recently handed out soup to men waiting for piece work in the streets in the mornings.

They are also in the process of installing a jungle gym at the Geduld Methodist Church.

They also build and provide cat beds for the SPCA.
