Cattle on Ermelo Road
There was no shepherd on site and one calf was nearly struck by a fast-moving car.
Cattle were seen crossing the Ermelo Road on Wednesday afternoon.
They moved slowly across the road at around 2pm which is a very busy period on the road.

Many herds of cattle graze around this area but a herder needs to be on sight to ensure that they do not wander around.
This is a recurring problem around this area and puts the animals as well as drivers in great danger.
Despite being given 48 hours, the EMPD failed to comment at the time of going to print.
