Armed robbery in Selcourt

The second suspect came back into the house; they took two Galaxy tablets, valued at R4 200, and fled the scene.

An armed robbery, at a house in Selcourt, took place last Thursday.

The complainant, who was employed as a domestic worker at the address, was busy sweeping when two suspects assailed her with firearms.

The first suspect pointed a firearm at her and told her to remain quiet as they were there to “work”.

The suspect then noticed a painter who fled after he was ordered by the suspect to enter the house.

The first suspect failed to catch the painter who was able to make a phone call and alert the owner of the house of the robbery.
