Items worth R43 000 stolen during Selcourt house break-in

Upon investigation, the pair found two suspects in the house and both were armed with firearms.

 

A domestic worker and a minor were held at gunpoint during a house break-in in Selcourt on Sunday afternoon.

The pair were in the main bedroom of the house when they heard a loud noise coming from somewhere inside the house.

Upon investigation, the pair found two suspects in the house and both were armed with firearms.

After the pair were held at gunpoint, the suspects forced them to lie down and covered them with a duvet.

Although the victims could not see the suspects, they could hear them moving around the house, and after a while, heard them leave the house in a vehicle.

The suspects took items to the value of more than R43 000, which included laptops, tablets and TVs.

No shots were fired during the robbery and nobody was injured.
