Domestic worker tied up with dog’s leash in Edelweiss

After making a fake phone call to the owner in front of the domestic worker confirming they were at the house to do repairs, she opened the gate for them.

Four suspects tied up a domestic worker during a house robbery in Edelweiss, last Friday afternoon.

The suspects parked their bakkie in front of the gate and called the domestic worker and told her they were there to fix something.

After making a fake phone call to the owner in front of the domestic worker confirming they were at the house to do repairs, she opened the gate for them.

Once inside the house, they forced the domestic worker to lie on the ground, tied her hands together with a dog’s leash and gagged her.

Thereafter, the robbers stole speakers, two laptops, a TV, a tablet, two pairs of takkies, a kettle, nine baby-wrapping blankets, a duvet and 48 nappies.
