Come enjoy fantastic Rand Show

Caxton Local Media is, for the first time, an official media sponsor of the Rand Show, which celebrates its 125th birthday this year.

The Rand Show promises to be an event to look forward to even after 125 years.

While the show promises something for everyone, talented Springsites should take note that they can put themselves in line to win R125 000 in prize money by taking part in the Joburg’s Talent event.

Caxton Local Media is, for the first time, an official media sponsor of the Rand Show, which celebrates its 125th birthday this year.

The line-up of exhibitors and what to expect at the various pavilions was revealed to the media and VIP guests at the Johannesburg Expo Centre, at Nasrec, on February 21, which coincided with ticket sales opening.

Enos Mafokate is awarded a Rand Show Gold Medal for his extensive career as a showjumper, which began at the Rand Show.

The charities which will benefit from the show this year are the SABC Foundation and the CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation.

Managing director of Caxton Local Media Jaco Koekemoer told guests he too has very fond memories of the Rand Show and that Caxton is honoured to help build the “Rand Show community”.

“Joburg’s best day out” promises something for everyone and takes place between April 19 and 28 at the Johannesburg Expo Centre, in Nasrec.
