Three suspects arrested for stock theft on Jacob’s Farm

A task force team alongside the visible policing unit tracked down the suspects and three of them were arrested in Etwatwa on Wednesday.

Five suspects stole R60 000 worth of chickens at Jacob’s Farm on Tuesday evening.

The suspects, who were carrying five firearms and two knives, stormed into the farm at 9.45pm and tied up two employees on duty to a lamp post outside the farm.

The victims say they heard the truck leaving the premises three times before one of the suspects released them at 3.15am on Wednesday morning.

One of the victims was stabbed on his left buttock.
