Balls to the wall, boytjies – it’s time for the 2019 Daredevil Run!

Cancer is a collection of diseases not to be taken lightly - but who’s to say you can’t have bucket loads of fun while supporting a good cause?

Yep, the 9th edition of the Hollard Daredevil Run is fast approaching, and you’re invited to join thousands of men in the fight against prostate and testicular cancer.

So, get your goolies into one of the famed purple Daredevil Speedos, take to the streets in a show of solidarity with sufferers and survivors, and do your bit to help prevent future victims.

Your entrance donation will go to the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) and the Prostate Cancer Foundation. CANSA funds the MANVan – a compact mobile clinic that can access far off venues to provide education, awareness and PSA blood tests.

A Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) blood test is used for screening as it can detect prostate cancer even before symptoms occur.

You can get yourself tested on the day, just prior to the run, or at the Hollard Campus when you pick up your race pack (see below).

To obtain accurate PSA screening results, please refrain from strenuous exercise before the run.

It’s just 5 kms, and totally worth jamming your jewels into a Speedo for!
