Three times the joy for Moodley family
Zaheed said they come from a family with a history to have twins but this is the first set of triplets for the family.
The Moodley triplets are finally home.
The infants were born at Life Springs Parkland Hospital, St Mary’s Wing on January 29 and were discharged from the NNICU on Sunday.
Ronnie and Zaheed Mohamed were blessed with two girls and a little boy. Laiqa (girl) was born at 9.51am, then Ashiq, a little boy at 9.52am and then another girl, Aniqa was born at 9.53am.
The parents were delighted to take them home on Sunday afternoon.
Zaheed said they come from a family with a history to have twins but this is the first set of triplets for the family.
“I was a bit nervous when the gynaecologist told us we are going to have triplets but I’m very excited that I can finally take them home,” says Zaheed.
All three babies are now healthy and are growing at home.
