A family of five was tied up during a house robbery in Struisbult last Thursday evening.
The man of the house had just parked his car in the garage when he was approached by three men who were all armed with firearms.
The victim was instructed to go into the house where his wife and three children were. The victims were tied up with shoelaces.

The suspects then ransacked the house and took the 50-inch plasma TV, sound system, two laptops, a tablet, a cellphone, a grinder, a welding machine, the couple’s wedding rings and the meat from the two fridges.
They also took the man’s firearm, ammunition and his car, which was worth R60 000.
No shots were fired during the robbery and no one was injured.
The value of the other stolen items is approximately R30 000.
