Businesses were confused about the foul stench coming from Selection Park Extension Four until they discovered the source.
An unknown person or company has been dumping animal remains and rubbish at the corner of Wit and Lydia roads.
It is unclear how long this has been going on for, but judging by the amount of rubbish, it has been a while.
Ward councillor Shadow Shabangu was outraged by what he saw.

“This is a serious health and safety violation and puts everyone around at risk.
“I will be working hard to track down who is responsible for this,” says Shabangu.
In the meantime, Shabangu says he will be in touch with the metro to come and remove the rubbish.
The metro failed to respond in time for publication.
