The Best Beard in Town competition is now in full swing with a number of beards vying for the title.
The competition runs until close of business (5pm) on November 30 so there is still time to cultivate the winning beard.
We are still gathering prizes and hope to announce a grand prize soon, however, we do have some beard products sponsored by Andrew Geral of Black Beard to be won.
The rules are simple:
• The competition is open to anyone who works or lives in Springs or Kwatsaduza.
• Grow a beard.
• If you already have a beard – now’s the time to make it shine.
• It can be any shape or length, we just want to see what your follicles can do.
• Once you think you have what it takes to impress, send a photo (minimum of 1mb in jpeg format) of yourself showing off your beard to editor Samantha Keogh at samk@caxton.co.za with your name, the area you live in and your contact number. Photos which do not meet the minimum size requirement will be disqualified and no correspondence will be entered into.
• The competition closes at 5pm on November 30.
• Photos of all the beards will go up on December 1 and our readers will vote for their favourite beards.
• Voting closes at 5pm on December 7 and the winner will be announced in our edition of December 13.
