A man was hijacked last Tuesday evening on the N17 highway next to KwaThema.
The victim was stopped by a white BMW with blue lights.
Three men, armed with firearms and wearing civilian clothing, tied the victim up with his shoelaces and made him sit on the back seat of the car.

The victim was later transferred to the boot of the car and was driven to an open veld where the suspects dumped him, took his cellphone and started stripping the vehicle.
A police patrol car interrupted the suspects, who then ran away.
The victim was rescued by the police who informed him he was in Katlehong.
Value of items taken, including damage to vehicle, is R500 000.
