Latest on the Daggafontein Mega City Project

“As indicated by the developer, the construction of 1 782 BNG units will be completed by July 2019,” says Gadebe.

The metro says they are not aware of any toxic gases being released within the vicinity of the site of the Daggafontein Mega City Project.

This is contrary to rumours that have been flying around alleging the project was on hold indefinitely because of the toxic gases that were coming up from underground.

Spokesperson for the metro Themba Gadebe says, “The Daggafontein project is a Public Private Partnership that is being implemented by the Gauteng Department of Human Settlements.
