Entertainment confirmed for Saturday’s braai competition

The popular all-girl band, Saarkie, will perform at the Springs Meat World Braai Festival, and the braai competition, which is open to all school learners, on Saturday from 9am.

Saarkie rose to fame with their hit song Ai My Lam.

Parents are invited to bring the children to see the production of Liewe Heksie en die Tuindwergie which is the last Liewe Heksie story written by Verna Vels for director Frans Swart just before she died.

The other artists performing are Jennifer Zamudio, Alwyn Oberholster and Joshua “Klein Elvis” Ziervogel.

Derrich Gardner will broadcast his popular Brejfis met Derrich from 5am to 10am.

He will also broadcast his very popular Vat 5 from Meat World on Saturday.

Schools can still enter the braai competition.

They must enter a team of five learners with one supervisor who should be either a teacher or a parent.

The supervisor is not allowed to braai but can give advice.

There will also be a flea market organised by Meat World.
