• Secretary’s Day Champagne Breakfast starting at 9am at Cinnamon Circle Wedding & Function Venue, 7 Circle Street, Strubenvale. The guest speaker will be Ilze Kriel to speak on the topic “The Confident Woman”. There are prizes to be won, a lucky draw to win a summer handbag, gifts and exhibitors with special goodies. Wellness and nutritional coach Rene Venter will also give a short talk and have a demonstration. A portion of ticket sales will go to Vita Nova. • Join the Boksburg Hiking club for their spring meeting at the Atlas Bowling Club corner of Denel North and Atlas roads, Bonaero Park. Prizes for the most innovative and funkiest hat. Your audition will be utilised to establish a sense of your range, tone and voice quality and candidates should preferably be able to read music.
