New youth centre in Springs

Every Nation Church launches their new ministry.

Every Nation Springs is a church in the heart of Springs under the leadership of Pastor Shaun Oliver and his wife Sameera.

Their focus has been on not just building a church, but being the church.

Their mission is to love the individual, restore the family and transform the city.

Shaun and Sameera have become well-known in the community for their work in the area of the arts.

They teach the youth how to play musical instruments and dance.

They also create performance opportunities and do youth development.

Shaun spends much of his time motivating the youth during school assemblies, counselling and school leadership training.

One of their recent works is outstanding and is about to change lives.

The coffee shop at the ministry is underway.

They have purchased the old cinemas at the Palm Springs shopping centre and are in the process of revamping it and turning it into a youth centre and their ministry.

The funding for this life-changing project comes from members of their local church. Much of what they do in the community is free.

The vision of having a centre like this took them four years to develop.

They have said the church and this centre are intended for the entire community of Springs, regardless of race, age, social standing or financial situation.

The youth centre at the Palm Springs Shopping Centre is still under construction.

Shaun says: “We will continue to trust the local congregation for financial support for the maintenance and every day running of the church and youth centre.

“We also invite anyone, even from outside our church, who has a similar heart for this city and would like to get involved through contributing time or resources to contact us.

“At Every Nation, we are big on teamwork. This is not about an individual, but a group of world shakers and history makers working together.”

The end goal for them is to see God glorified, individuals loved, families restored and Springs transformed.
