Forex and finance company plays their part

Charity starts at home with this Springs based company.

A local forex trading and car financing company in Springs, owned by a young entrepreneur, did charitable work this past Wednesday to play their part in giving back to the community.

The company requested that Chance Children’s Home send them a wishlist from which they chose which items they would donate to the centre.

On Wednesday, which was Mandela Day, the employees of the company went out to the home to drop off their donations which included big steel tables, cutlery and salad bowls for use at the home.

Over and above the donations, the people from the finance and trading department devoted their time to playing and interacting with the kids to give them a feeling of joy and warmth on the day.

The company find it paramount that they do this to give back to the community and show the same loyalty and support that they have been shown to less fortunate people.

The CEO and founder, Cole Govender, say that they are passionate about people and the community and they are here to change lives.

He goes on to say, “I believe in the youth and giving back to the community and I prioritise that before the money and fame.”

All the funding for this initiative came directly from the auto finance department in the company and there was no external assistance.

This also was to ensure that the home is aware that they do this from their heart and that they have a genuine interest in the wellbeing and general needs of the children.

Chance Children’s Home was selling warm, cooked food on the day in efforts to raise funds and feed the tummies that were in attendance.

The community members also came in numbers to drop off donations such as blankets, clothes, as well as food, for the children to keep warm and be fed.
