“All new clients need to report to the Department of Social Development in Fourth Street, Springs or their offices in KwaThema to seek assistance.
“The society will only continue rendering services to the existing clients already with the society before July 1 this year,” she says.

Van Moerkerken adds the society is not closing down, but cutting back on service delivery for six months in order to deal with other pressing matters.
